An opportunity has arisen for an Education Researcher to provide analysis and research support within the Catholic Education Service. With an understanding of education policy, you will help develop responses to issues regarding Catholic education and schools.

Working in the office of the Catholic Bishops Conference, 39 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1BX, a short walk from Victoria Station in Central London, the successful candidate will join a committed professional team developing close relationships with diocesan colleagues across England and Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and provide advice and support to on educational issues affecting England, with a focus on standards and assessment.
  • To draft responses to Government consultations, proposals and Bills affecting Catholic education as required.
  • To provide research and data analysis support for the Education and Public Affairs teams
  • To work on developing responses to strategic and current issues facing Catholic schools and education.
